This tutorial is intended to get you started with WSim and eSimu. It shows you the basics of executing, debugging and interpreting results of applications written for the target microcontrollers.

The tutorial uses the wsn430 sensor node but any MSP430 based platform will run the same way with regards to performance and energy estimation.

This tutorial assumes that you are familiar with the basics of WSim and its associated tools. If not please first visit the WSim main tutorial.

Once the complete toolchain has been setup this tutorial will describe how to gather performance estimation and energy consumption data from distributed application running on top of WSim.
